ABOUT ME
My name is Frits Heckler and I am a Dutch photographer who combines flash and natural light to get the right mood and setting.
I portrait women in a more playful environment, both indoors as outdoors. I like to use props and make special settings.
I live in Scheveningen ( seaside of the Haque), Holland, where I have a home studio.
To improve my skills, I took masterclasses from various famous photographers, such as Sacha Leyendecker in Cologne and Toonen-and-Wientjens, Arnhem.
I shoot in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic and Spain.
Because I live a few hunderd meters from the seaside and only 50 meters from the dunes, I plan to do a lot of shoots there, using both flash and natural light.
When I am not shooting or traveling, I like to play tennis several times a week.
Before Corona, I was a poker player, with the abolute highlight being qualifying for the main event in the Bahama's.
I am retired now, but in my working life I was project manager at the Dutch Telecom Company (KPN)
